Flick – Terms of Use
Version 1.4 · Effective November 1, 2026
1. Acceptance and Apple's agreement
By installing or using the App you agree to these terms. The App is licensed to you under Apple's standard license agreement (Licensed Application End User License Agreement), which forms part of these terms. These terms supplement it: in case of conflict about the license itself, Apple's agreement prevails; on any other matter these terms prevail, to the extent the law allows. The operator is Ofek Moshe Moshkovitz, exempt dealer, Karmiel, Israel (the "Operator", "we"). By tapping Continue on the welcome screen you confirm that you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. On the purchase screen, that acceptance is recorded on your device only after the purchase succeeds. The record is the terms version and the date. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App; the Operator is responsible for support and for claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the license agreement.
2. The service
Flick is an app for cleaning up the photo library on your device by swiping, detecting duplicate or similar photos, and scanning for receipts, documents, and blurry or dark photos. Analysis runs on the device only, as described in the Privacy Policy. Automatic detection is an estimate and may be wrong, for example flagging a photo that is not a duplicate or missing one that is. You decide what to delete.
3. Deleting photos and your responsibility
Deletion happens only after you confirm it, on the App's review screen and on the iOS confirmation prompt. Deleted photos are normally kept in the "Recently Deleted" album for 30 days under iOS settings and are then permanently deleted. On Android, deleted photos move to the phone’s trash. The phone usually keeps them for about 30 days and then deletes them permanently. How long, and whether you can restore them, depends on the phone. Flick lists what it moved there and can ask Android to restore it. Some phones refuse. If you use iCloud Photos, a deletion may update all your Apple devices. You are responsible for checking what you marked for deletion and for backing up photos that matter. The Operator is not responsible for the loss of photos deleted at your choice.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
- Monthly or yearly subscription: renews automatically and includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the plan price, and then every period. Billing is to your Apple ID account.
- Free trial and plan prices (Israel App Store, VAT included): the free trial is 3 days. After the trial: Monthly ₪15.00 per month; Yearly ₪120.00 per year; Lifetime ₪149.90, a one-time purchase with no trial. Launch offer: new Yearly subscribers who subscribe by December 1, 2026 pay ₪79.00 for the first year, then ₪120.00 per year; while this introductory price applies, the Yearly plan has no free trial (Apple allows one introductory offer per subscription). In other countries the App Store shows the equivalent price in local currency before you buy.
- Cancelling: in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- Cancelling a distance purchase: a consumer may cancel a distance transaction under section 14C of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, subject to the exceptions in law (including digital content supplied immediately), by contacting us or Apple. Any cancellation fee will not exceed what the law allows.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase of a license to use the App that is not limited in time, for the version you bought and the versions we publish later. We make no commitment to develop future features or to support future iOS versions. If we stop publishing updates we will tell you in advance where possible, and the App already on your device will keep working as far as the operating system allows.
- Prices and refunds: the price is shown in the App before you buy. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and do not affect your rights under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
5. License and permitted use
You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse engineer the App, except as the law expressly allows, or use it unlawfully or in a way that harms others. The App is intended for people aged 13 and over. A person under 18 may use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.
6. Shared features
In shared cleaning (SharePlay), delete and keep decisions and internal photo identifiers are sent to the participants in the call. Use the feature only with people you want to share with. Each participant deletes only from their own library. Sharing photos or videos with others is your choice and your responsibility, including the consent of the people who appear in them.
7. Availability and changes
We try to provide the App properly, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or compatibility with every device and system version. We may update, change or discontinue features. We will give advance notice of a material change that harms a feature you paid for, and you will have the right to cancel your subscription.
8. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the event. This limitation does not apply to damage caused maliciously or by gross negligence, and does not reduce rights that cannot be waived under law, including consumer protection law.
9. Ending use
You may stop using the App at any time by removing it (and by cancelling your subscription, as described above). We may suspend or restrict your access to the App in case of a material breach of these terms or use contrary to law. Expiry or cancellation of a subscription, or a refund, ends access to the App's features only and does not affect the photos in your library.
10. Changes to these terms
We will update these terms from time to time. A material change will be published in an App update and on the terms page at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the effective date at the top will be updated. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the App and cancel your subscription.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Israeli law. The competent courts in Israel, including those in the Northern District, have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any jurisdiction that mandatory law gives a consumer, including in the place where they live.
12. Language
The Hebrew and English versions of these documents are the binding ones. Versions in other languages are courtesy translations that have not yet been legally reviewed. If a translation differs from them, the Hebrew version prevails for users in Israel and the English version prevails for everyone else. This does not affect mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of your place of residence.
13. Contact
